Donated to Shop with a Cop
Every year Tillamook City Police puts on “Shop with a Cop” for children in our community. The Sheriff’s Office has a proud tradition of being part of this amazing event and TCSF donated to that cause last year and hopes to donate again and again!
Sponsored a Senior Project
A Tillamook High School student was working on a project to bring awareness to the dangers of Driving Impaired. After a request was made the Foundation gladly sponsored this student in her amazing cause. We say, “Well done!”
Hosted an Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Sheriff’s Office and TCSF have cohosted two annual Easter Egg Hunts for the youth of our county. This event has been graciously sponsored by TLC a Division of Fibre Federal Credit Union as well as sending staff as volunteers helping to put this on. This event is a lot of fun and creates great interactions!
Sponsored a Sheriff’s Office Charity Golf Tournament Team
TCSO has had a team in the Oregon State Sheriff’s Association Charity Golf Tournament since it began. It is a great organization that helps fund training, conferences and overall support to Sheriff’s Office across the State. TCSF happily sponsored the TCSO team for multiple years.
Hosted and End of Summer BBQ for Sheriff’s Office Staff
TCSF hosted a Sheriff’s Office BBQ at the end of a busy summer season. This event was meant to be a way for staff to wind down together and catch their breath after the huge spike in workload. It was a huge gesture from TCSF to our staff.
Sponsored A Sheriff’s Office Running Team for local Marathon
TCSO has put Sheriff’s Office staff teams together for three years to run in a local charity marathon. Each year the teams continue to grow, and it helps a great cause while building camaraderie and wellness. TCSF was proud to sponsor this team all three years.
Brought Pizza to Sheriff’s Office Staff to Show Appreciation
For no particular reason other than to show their appreciation and give TCSO staff some good local pizza, TCSF brought dinner to the Sheriff’s Office for all divisions. They did this on multiple nights to ensure all staff had a chance to partake. It was tremendously appreciated.
Hosted the Annual Search and Rescue Banquet and Fundraiser Event
Each year Tillamook County Search and Rescue, a core duty of the Sheriff’s Office, has hosted a fundraiser to help support the volunteer team that make up the majority of our SAR Team. TCSF has cohosted this event and provided support financially as well with volunteers. The Foundation has been a huge part of this banquet and a major benefit to our team of volunteers.
Hosted Annual Law Christmas Dinner for all Tillamook County law Enforcement
Each holiday season as a way to unwind and enjoy each other’s company, Tillamook County law enforcement agencies get together for a family style Christmas dinner. TCSF helps gather and cover the cost of this as well as buying raffle style prizes for each attendee to have a chance to win. This event is a big boost to the wellbeing of staff as well as strengthening bonds.
