Sheriff Brown had a dream, or a goal, to create a nonprofit organization that is directly tied to and for the specific benefit of the Sheriff’s Office and the community. Together with the first Board Member and current president Jesse Borough, they created the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Foundation.
We value our deputies and we recognize Tillamook County is highly supportive of their Sheriff’s Office. We strive to help the staff with activities that benefit them and their wellness and encourage camaraderie amongst staff.
The Foundation believes strongly in community involvement just as the Sheriff’s Office does. This is especially true with events that have a nexus to law enforcement and create meaningful, lasting connections. We focus heavily on events that encourage positive interaction between the youth of our community and law enforcement professionals.
